Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated GradeCircle Inc.

You can ask us to stop selling or sharing your personal information, request access to it, ask us to delete or correct it, limit our use of sensitive information, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Use the form below or the contact details provided and we will honor your request as required by law.

What this means

Our service works by sharing the contact information you give us with independent independent, licensed restoration providers who pay us a fee. Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and comparable laws in other states, that sharing may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and you have the right to opt out.

Your options

Opt out of sale/sharing — we stop sharing your information with providers for these purposes going forward.

Access / know — we tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use and disclose it.

Delete — we delete the personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions.

Correct — we correct inaccurate personal information.

Limit sensitive information — we limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the service.

Withdraw consent — we stop contacting you and ask the provider(s) already referred to stop as well.

Global Privacy Control

If you use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for that browser and device, where required by law. An opt-out tied to a browser signal may not be linked to your account unless you also submit an identified request.

How we verify and respond

We use the contact details you submit to verify that the request relates to you, and we may need to confirm your identity before acting. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making a request.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request, subject to verification of the agent's authority. Where a state law provides an appeal process, we will tell you how to appeal a denial. You may also email help@example.com.

After you have contacted a provider

If we have already shared your information with a provider, that provider controls the information it holds independently, and you may need to contact the provider directly to exercise your rights with respect to that information.
